Paul commended the Corinthians on their Pure and Sincere Devotion for Christ (II Corinthians 11:1-3).  But, the applause came with a warning.  He did not want them to slip away from their goal of serving God authentically and aggressively.  He knew that good intentions were not enough.  If they were going to live their faith consistenlty, they were going to need to be on alert so they didn't "slip away from their Pure and Sincere Devotion."
