Conclusion
Before the foundation of the earth, the plan was in place.
In his infinite wisdom, God knew that the perfect relationship between man and his creator would be interrupted by sin…He was prepared.
Before the first fish swam or the first dove fluttered, it had been determined that Jesus would lay down his divinity to fulfill God’s ultimate purpose. He would be born of a virgin in a Bethlehem manger, be raised as the son of a carpenter, and grow in wisdom and stature. At the appropriate age (approximately 30 years), he would begin his public ministry. He would call twelve to his inner circle, perform wonderful miracles motivated by love, and teach with an impossible-to-ignore authority that would inspire thousands and infuriate the religious.
But, it was not just his life that was preordained, but his death as well.
God knew that his death would bring a revolution.
The cross was the only way.
Pain must be endured.
Disgrace must be embraced.
Blood must be shed.
The goal was costly…always is.
Sacrifice was involved…always is.
But, the end result was worth all that was required.
Today…
Before the foundation of the earth, God knew you.
In his infinite wisdom God knew that the culture in which you would live was slipping towards spiritual apathy and moral depravity. He knew that the concept of absolute truth would be counterfeited and challenged, that his offer of limitless love for mankind would be scorned, that the slide towards corruption would gain momentum.
Yet, he was not caught off guard.

Before the snake slithered in the garden or Noah hid from the initial drops of rain, it had been determined that you would live, that you would give your life for the cause of Christ, and that you lead a revolution. He knew where you would be born and to whom. He carefully sculpted your skill set, intentionally developed your personality, and creatively aligned your passions.
But, it was not just your existence that was preordained, but your exploits as well.
God knew that you have what it takes to live counter to the culture.
To pray reforming prayers…to take transforming light into a shadowy culture…to lead an uprising.
God called you to stand out by standing up…but it will not be easy.
Loneliness must be endured.
Excuses must be exterminated.
Insecurities must be overcome.
And, your will must be crucified.
The goal is lofty…it is time to bring Christ back into the culture.
Sacrifice is involved…no worthy pursuit will allow you to remain comfortable.
But the end result is worth all that is required.
Christ will be lifted up.
People will know and respond to his love.
Society will be transformed.
Heaven will be populated, and the gates of hell will be shaken.
With strong anticipation, the inhabitants of heaven have awaited your life. They cheer you on as a champion for your generation.
It is time to lead the charge.
It is time to make a difference.
It is time to pick up your sword, hit your knees, and engage the enemy.
It is time to embrace The Warrior Way.
