I went into my garage the other day to get into our other fridge and realized the light had burned out in the garage. It was pitch black. I couldn’t see anything. Well, except a small amount of light coming in through the corners of the door leading to the outside. Even though it was only a tiny bit of light, it was, nonetheless, light! Lights in the distance - The journey was always hard. Driving fifteen hours without stopping for sleep was always a challenge, but doing it by myself made it rough. Not only was the routine tiring, but there were always unexpected surprises that made it a test. The flat tires, the snow storms, and episodes with deer in the middle of the highway added to the adventure. By the time I came over the ridge, I was always drained.
