Many people in the world today know intense and desperate feelings of loneliness. Typically these people never let anyone see their anguish about feeling alone, but they are haunted by them. After having spent hours with some of their best friends, they pull away into solitude to wonder if anyone cares. Though people surround them, they still feel alone.

Loneliness is a paralyzing force to many, yet it needn't be. For the lies that loneliness amplifies are put to rest when someone understands that they do have a friend who is closer than they realize.

You are never out of God's sight. No matter what you do, what you go through, or where your life leads you, you can not escape His care and His persistent love. It is this love that calls out wanting to be a part of your life.
