Like so many other emails that I have received in the past, a young lady was telling me that she has never had anyone love her without strings.  Her parents only loved her when she is good and performs well. And, her friends are seasonal choosing to love her or ignore her for different reasons from how she looks to who she hangs out with.  She felt as if no one had ever unconditionally accepted her and loved her.  

She needed to know that Jesus’ love is one of a kind.  It is perfect and his compassion is never ending.  He offers love not based upon the merits of the person receiving love, but out of the character of the one giving it.  He loves because it is who He is.  This young lady got a glimpse of the love of Christ and was amazed. When she understood that Jesus loved her while she was still a sinner, she realized that his love wasn’t contingent upon her behavior.  And when she realized that this force was strong enough to make her a better person, she was ecstatic.  She has never been the same person since.  

The Bible says that Jesus has loved you with an everlasting love and he is drawing you with loving kindness.  It is time that you give Him a try?  © 2007 Champion Ministries dba Groundwire
