Planned Giving

BUILDING HOPE IN THE LIVES OF OTHERS THROUGH PLANNED GIVING

In making a planned gift to Groundwire, you are not only establishing your own legacy in the hearts of others, but you are also helping Groundwire to share the most important and eternal message: God's plan of Salvation through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Your partnership with Groundwire through your planned giving will ensure that countless lives are touched with a profound message of eternal hope.

HOW CAN YOU REMEMBER GROUNDWIRE IN YOUR PLANNED GIVING?

There are many vehicles that you can use to remember GROUNDWIRE in your legacy. Here are but a few:

A. BEQUEST: Designate Groundwire as the beneficiary of your asset by will, trust or beneficiary designation form. A charitable bequest is one of the easier and flexible ways that you can leave a gift to Groundwire that will make a lasting impact.

B. IRA ROLLOVER:  You may be looking for a way to make a lasting difference to help further the mission and vision of Groundwire. If you are 70 1/2 or older, an IRA charitable rollover is a way you can help continue our work and benefit this year.

C. BENEFICIARY DESIGNATION GIFTS: Designate Groundwire as a beneficiary of your retirement, investment, bank account or your life insurance policy. This is a simple and yet affordable way to make a gift in support of Groundwire.

D. CHARITABLE REMAINDER UNITRUST: With this vehicle, you can transfer your cash or appreciated property to fund a charitable remainder unitrust. The trust sells your property tax free and provides you with income for life or for a set term of years.

E. CHARITABLE LEAD TRUST: With this vehicle, you fund a trust that makes a gift to Groundwire for a number of years. Your family receives the trust remainder at substantial tax savings.

These are just a few of the ways you can consider Groundwire in your legacy planning. Feel free to contact us or have your financial advisor / estate attorney contact us if we can be of further assistance in your legacy planning.
